PROJECT ENGINEER – BUILDING AND CIVIL (RAIL)

MANCHESTER – 6 MONTH CONTRACT - £370 PER DAY

ARM are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer for a rail client to be based in Manchester.

You will be an experienced Project Engineer with significant experience within rail that includes civil engineering and construction (building). You will have a good understanding of CDM and assurance within the discipline and have an understanding of independent assessment of work. You will need to hold PTS and CSCS certifications. Ideally you will be a degree education engineer.

This is a contract position with an initial engagement of 6 months, which could extend beyond this initial period. The purpose of the position is to manage design and/or construction activities for allocated projects. Managing so that appropriate engineering standards are used in relation to design and/or construction on allocated projects within the national programme with compliance to the requirements of the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), relevant legislation, Group and company standards and procedures.

The position will be based in Manchester and will involve site visits. There will be some working from home initially, until Covid restrictions allow office working again.

This position is paying £370 per day (Umbrella) inside IR35. PAYE rates can be discussed on application.

Our client will require a DBS check as part of their compliance process prior to start. We can also on consider applications from those who are eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
