About the Role

An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy are looking to recruit a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Civil Engineering team based in Norwich. You will be working on a variety of challenging project for a broad range of clients in both the public and private sector.

You will be leading a team of Civil Engineers and Drainage Technicians, working on gathering information, foul and surface water drainage designs and highway designs. You will be responsible for providing technical advice and supervising designs produced by you team to ensure that they met the relevant design standards. Additionally, you will be mentoring junior engineers, assisting them in their development.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all relevant building regulation standards, including but not limited to SuDS, DMRB and Manual for Streets. Additionally, you must have proven project experience of using drainage design software such as Microdrainage, as well as other design software such as PDS, Civils 3D and other similar software.

The role is based in the Norwich region. However, other locations including Colchester, Bristol and London will be considered.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of NPPF, SFA, SuDS, Highway Design Guides and Manual for Streets.
• Experience using Microdrainage Windes or other similar drainage software.
• Experience using PDS, Civils 3D and other similar design software.
• Proven experience leading a team of Engineers
• Ability to negotiate approvals with relevant authorities.
