The Project

As a Senior Engineer, you will work on a large civils framework consisting of bridges & structures, earthworks, groundworks & flood defences and highways around Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

• First Aid
• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
• HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

For this role it is essential that you hold the following experience below;

• 4 years + experience as a Senior Engineer or similar role on civil projects

Duties

• Supervising Works
• Attend in-house progress meetings
• Setting up and maintaining site control
• Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
• Ensuring compliance with works standards
• Checking deliveries before being signed for
• To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
• Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
• Overseeing the earthworks, drainage, bridges & structures, groundworks, concrete works and general civils
• Overseeing excavations
• Supervising subcontractors on site
• Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
• Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
• Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
• Completing site documentation
• Completing QA / QC documentation and ensuring the project runs to company standards
• Running the quality side of the project
• Ensuring project works match the specifications required
