We are currently looking for a Senior Rail Civil Engineer to work for well renowned Engineering consultancy whom work on some of the UK leading projects such as HS2 being, with this specific role based in Glasgow. 

As the Senior Engineer and line manager member of the Rail Civil Design Engineering Team, in which the role forms a key position providing civil design engineering skills and technical knowledge of railway design and operations input into single- and multidisciplinary projects. You will be responsible for and working as part of a large team comprising designers, engineers and technicians, which includes leading a number of Engineers and more junior technical staff with input to railway projects of various sizes. 

Within the position you will be responsible for the technical Civil Engineering design input on Rail projects, in which you will lead and mentor junior staff undertaking the Design Management of the civil disciplines on Projects which includes coordinating and managing the necessary interfaces and input that are required to deliver a railway Civil design project.

Job Requirements

• Ideally CEng or IEng or demonstrable experience
• Ideally undertaken the role of CRE or has an undertaking of the position
• Experienced working within a technical consultancy environment on Railway Civils projects
• Eurocode experience
