Senior Rail Civil Engineer in United Kingdom

We are looking to recruit a Senior Rail Civil Engineer to work from our Glasgow offic e. We do have some flexibility around location. This is a full time, permanent role involving various technical aspects of rail projects.
In the Glasgow office, we work in all aspects of railway civil engineering, including detailed design of new stations like Inverness Airport Station and East Linton Station (both of which are due to be commissioned in December 2022), providing civil engineering designs for Contractors on major upgrades including Carstairs Junction, and providing civil engineering input to feasibility and outline design of decarbonisation schemes for Network Rail including the Aberdeen to Central Belt project.
This role will involve civils rail design work for multiple projects and requires a candidate confident in their ability across all stages of the design process from feasibility to detailed design. You will be able to assist others in their work while finding and correcting any issues. The role will suit a candidate experienced in carrying out the duties of Contractor's Responsible Engineer or working towards this capability. You will have a strong technical civil or structural background with relevant rail experience.
