Senior Rail Engineering Manager (Civils) - HSR

EWI are supporting a leading European Consultancy who are seeking a Senior Rail Engineering Manager for a high-speed rail project in the MENA Region

The successful candidate will oversee the design review process for civil works, including architectural, MEP, and station planning aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough design reviews of civil works, architectural plans, MEP systems, and station planning for the High-Speed Rail project.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
• Possess extensive knowledge and experience in rail stations, rail lines, and High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects.
• Manage and coordinate processes effectively to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members as needed.
• Maintain clear communication channels with all involved parties to address issues and resolve conflicts promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic is advantageous, but proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the project team and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects, with a focus on High-Speed Rail (HSR) or similar transportation infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, rail stations, rail lines, and HSR systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in civil engineering design and project management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel and work in various locations as required by the project.
