The Project

As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the works on a Water framework across Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

• SSSTS
• First Aid
• Driver's License
• Experience of supervising on civil infrastructure developments

It is desirable that you hold the following qualifications or experience:

• RASWA Supervisor
• Asbestos Awareness
• Slinger / Signaller
• NVQ Level 3 Construction Supervisor
• Experience on Clean Water and Waste Water civil developments

The Role

• Job Title: Site Supervisor
• Job Type: Permanent
• Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

• Monitor and produce good quality of work
• Supervising the site operatives and sub contractors
• Managing and providing as-built information
• Liaising with the client and third parties
• Assisting the site manager with the day-to-day running of the site
• Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
• Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
• Delivering site inductions to new starters
• Ensuring health and safety standards remain compliant to the company's procedures and ways of working
• Carrying out safety talks and daily briefings
• Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
