We are looking to add experienced Works Managers to our existing workforce to work alongside us delivering projects in Scotland, Wales and the rest of the UK.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Producing schedules of work
- Identifying, mentoring and developing junior staff
- Assist managing projects in a high quality, professional and commercially viable manner
- Ensuring risks are identified and controlled
- Carrying out work to meet health, safety and environmental standards
- Liaising with key stakeholders and producing reports for senior managers
- Ensuring rail engineering projects comply with legislation and industry standards
- Collaborating with other contractors and specialists.
- Must be Reliable, punctual and polite
- Be respectful to your colleagues
- Be courteous and respectful to our clients
Essential Skills:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Valid CSCS card is desirable
- PTS card
- Able to adapt quickly to support colleagues and customers
- Methodical and structured approach to problem solving
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
