Commercial Assistant
Location - London
My client is looking for a commercial administrator/contracts administrator to
- Provide administrative support to Commercial Director and Commercial Department to ensure departmental activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
- To assist in the co-ordination of internal reporting timetables and deliverables.
- To manage the secure storage of contract documents and assist in co-ordinating the execution of contract documents.
- Assist in the recording and maintenance of Commercial KPI's.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To work within the companies processes and procedures at all times
- To assist in the financial management of the project/packages.
- To assist in maximising the financial returns of the Project/Packages within the constraints of the tenders submitted and the prevailing site conditions.
- To assist in ensuring the company is fully aware of, and compliant with, the contractual requirements of the Project/Packages under your control
- At all times to maintain good professional and industry standards.
- Contribute to the performance and development of teams, individuals, and self
- Contribute and develop productive working relationships
- Ensure acceptable levels of probity are maintained at all times
- To assist in the production of accurate and timely reporting in relation to costs and values, including, but not limited to CVR's/Cash Flows/Valuation Projections/Construction Budgets and the like.
- PC or Laptop, Software required in the performance of duties and in accordance with the current company format. (MS Office suite, PeopleHR, Evolution M).
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a working environment, preferably in the construction sector.
- To be kept fresh in current legislation, legal procedures and relevant legal decisions via both internal and external seminars and training.
- To be kept fresh in current computer software, such as MS office and Evolution M project planning software as necessary
- Strong personnel skills
- Commercially aware
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of computer literacy
- User of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level, so as to be able to produce spreadsheets to a high level of proficiency, including
- the use of pivot tables, database functions and the like.
