A global contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team due to recent project wins. As a result they are looking for a Commercial Assistant to assist them with the demanding nature of complex engineering projects through coordinating the commercial administration.

Role: The role of the Commercial Administrator will be to carry out the day to day running of Labour only subcontracts, agency invoice processing, and invoice only subcontracts.

Key responsibilities:
Download data reports and check / format
Review / checking timesheets with Works Manager to verify records against daily allocation sheets and adjust as required
Update global tracker documents
Re-forecasting with Works Manager to incorporate any changes
Prepare and report on P&L for labour only subcontracts
Set up new purchase orders / Consultancy agreements
Amend purchase orders / Consultancy agreements for changes
Verify hours claimed on time sheets
Process timesheets for payment
Checking / processing invoices related to invoice only subcontracts

Requirements:
Previous experience within a commercial role ideally within an engineering/construction environment
Very strong Excel skills
Experienced within document control, timesheet processing and cost/quantities that can be displayed within excel.

The position is offering a 6 month rolling contract with over 2 years of work and paying up to £170 per day.
