The Role

This is the ideal role for an experienced Commercial Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyor with infrastructure experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Working on major infrastructure upgrades and reporting into the Commercial Manager and senior Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in the management of the day-to-day commercial aspects of contracts, supporting both the commercial and project team.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited too; processing and reviewing contractor timesheets and payment applications, producing relevant order forms for procurement and requesting PO's, providing input into project financial reporting and change control, assist with production of tender and contractual documentation, provide support in the preparation of financial forecasting and reports.

The Person

As the ideal candidate you will have the following qualifications and be able to demonstrate the following experience:

• A commercial or business administration related qualification
• Knowledge of contract procedures and administration, and an understanding of contract reporting methodology.
• Good commercial acumen with the ability to constantly improve systems, processes and reporting standards.
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Good organisational ability, with proven communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills including excel
