Role: Commercial Manager
Location: London & remote
Duration: 6 Month Contract

The role:
Initial 6 month contract working on the HS2 project, the UK's new high speed rail network. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years career experience in a similar role - preferably within the rail & infrastructure sector, certainly civil engineering. Delivering cost and contract control in delivering projects for the client.
Key responsibilities:
- Contract & compliance management
- Commercial reporting associated with change management
- Assessment of change impacts against the program
- Measurement and quote development
- Development, management, and reporting of project metrics
- Provide contractual and commercial risk advice to the commercial team
- Manage & lead risk reduction change management meetings
Essential requirements:
- Degree qualified or equivalent ideally in construction commercial management
- Must have experience in working complex building, civils works or MEP Works
- Have experience in managing others and working in large teams
- Must have a good working knowledge of the NEC
- Strong presentation and excel skills
- RICS qualified or equivalent, or working towards
Desirable:
- Strong contract experience
- Experience in rail or infrastructure projects
- Change management experience
- Claims and dispute resolution experience
