Rail Contract Manager (Contractor): Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a Contracts Manager for a recently awarded Rail/ Metro project in the Philippines.

Opportunity:

This leading international main Contractor, with a global reputation for delivering major rail and infrastructure projects around the world and with a strong presence in the Philippines are looking for an international expert to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity to join a project from its commencement and play a role.

Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be responsible for leading the commercial and contracts team to setup and administer the contract, ensure that all commercial matters are in hand. The role will be based in the Philippines but will be working closely with resources around the world.

This is a JICA/ ADB financed project being carried out to FIDIC Contract conditions. Current challenges being faced include claims for lack of access.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree qualified (civil engineering or related subject)
• 15+ years of General Experience
• 5+ years of Contract experience on rail or metro projects.
• Previous Main Contractor experience would be beneficial.
• Regional experience would be beneficial.

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is flexible depending on experience however would expect to be in the region of $6,000 to $9,000 per month with an additional allowance.
