Job description
Eurostar are performing a depot modification and upgrade (multi-discipline scope) to their existing site location in Temple Mills. EGIS have been appointed to lead on NEC4 commercial, cost, and contract management services. Provide:
- Full suite of NEC contract administration duties including:
- Monitor Early Warnings and Change Control notification in accordance with the terms and conditions of the NEC4.
- Undertake an assessment of the amount due and process Contractor invoices and applications for payment inline with the time frames stated in the contract.
- Maintaining and issue NEC4 risk register to D&B Contractor.
- Maintain project cost model.
- Attend monthly reporting and project review meetings with EIL team.
- EGIS Commercial Dashboard: identifying the anticipated final cost, budget/authority, actual cost, accrual ratios, risk status, contingency and efficiency management, and profiling performance.
- Submit updated monthly cashflow forecasts to EIL finance department.
- Measuring both the Value of Work completed to date and the Actual spend profile by EGIS.
Profile
Qualifications and must-haves for candidates
- Educated to degree level and member of a professional body
- 8-10 years of commercial experience working on infrastructure related field.
- Good understanding of NEC3-4
- Experience in leading and project commission
- Experience negotiating and procuring Contracts including testing the robustness of costs
- Experience of working within a collaborative culture or/ and a mature approach to relationship management with a long-term strategic focus
- Able to prioritise the delivery of the objectives of their role
- Good communication skills
- Ability to performance manage and hold to account
- Experience in managing and developing assistant and intermediate level commercial team members.
