Job title: Train Presentation Quality & Compliance Manager
Job location: Kent
Industries considered: Rail Only
Length of Contract: 6month+
Salary: £17-20 an hour (Ltd); £13.50-£15.50 (PAYE) £35-40kpa pro rata
Rate will be depending on experience
Shifts: 4 on 4 off days & nights on rotation
Roles Considered: team leader, supervisor, HSE specialist, administrator, manager, compliance officer, driver manager, standards manager, contracts manager, project manager, trainer assessor, auditor, on-board manager, station manager
Role Requirements
We are looking for an individual with experience within the rail sector covering people management and/or compliance. Ideally you will have worked within train presentation, but we are open to applicants with strong managerial backgrounds within on-board staff, driver management or any other depot/stations operations.
You will be responsible for managing the quality of work across train presentation. This will involve visiting multiple depots to check compliance to requisite standards. You will ensure that all staff are fully competent in their roles and working safely. You will monitor the delivery of outsourced cleaning contracts and ensure all deliverables are being met.
You will ensure the reporting of any incidents or near misses at assist with any necessary investigations and follow up actions.
You will work with the wider team to contribute to continual improvements within the train presentation department.
You must have strong IT skills as you will be managing KPIs and reporting using the full MS suite - outlook, excel, word, powerpoint.
Person Summary
You will be an independent and organised individual with experience working in the rail sector.
You must have previous experience within commercial cleaning or train presentation
Qualifications:
Previous or Current PTS
Ideally IOSH certified
Strong MS Office skills - including excel
Audit experience is advantageous
