Construction Manager (Cable-Stayed Bridge) - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for an upcoming Cable-Stayed Bridge project in the Philippines.

Opportunity:

Working for a leading International Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivering projects in the Philippines and around the world the successful individual shall please a key role in the successful delivery of the project. The role would be based in Manila.

The Construction Manager, will coordinate the Construction Methods and Interfaces between the Bridge Construction Works, Caisson Construction Works, Logistic Arrangement and Local Content (Permits, Authorities approval).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides the global construction strategy for both Construction Methodology and Project Planning.
• Provides specialized technical support to the Lead Estimator, such as construction approach, methodology & productivity. Also provides inputs on Project Organizational Chart, Logistic arrangement, site establishment and running costs.
• Provides technical support to the Design team with inputs from the constructability point-of-view. Conduct regular coordination meetings, with the Design Manager to achieve better solutions and Project Optimization.
• Methodology Manager for specific Works may support the Construction Manager.
• The Construction Manager coordinates and distributes the scope of work between the Methodology Managers, which will: Prepare technical narratives to meet RFP requirements, with method statements, etc.
• Select specific equipment list, materials and subcontracting levels and provide inputs and assessment for their Procurement.
• Provide the requirements for the Site Facilities, permits according to the Project needs and the specification requirements. Establish shifts, teams' composition and productivities.
• Requests Technical Information and additional support, from the Headquarter offices (Procurement, Engineering, special Equipment, Quality, Safety, Environment, R+D, Communication, etc.) or from other External Consultants.

Key requirements for the role:

• 10+ Years of General Experience
• Previous Cable Stay Bridge Experience (Ideally over Water)
• Previous Main Contractor Experience
• Regional experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Salary Package:

Salary would be upto $7,000 per month
