We are now looking for a Construction Manager with previous Rail experience to work on an exciting new station build. The role is for 6 months initially and will be based onsite in Merseyside with some home working.
As a Construction Manager, your main responsibilities would be:
- Direct and manage the resources and ensure delivery of engineering outputs
- Maintain standards and improve the quality of products, services and advice to customers.
- Apply engineering knowledge to direct the development of work plans, including defining improvements to systems, capabilities and/or process, and contribute to setting the strategic direction in that area.
- Influence and negotiate with customers and stakeholders at an equivalent specialist level to ensure the successful delivery and pull through of their projects
- Manage engineering projects across the client body to deliver key engineering outputs and improve systems or products.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Civils and Track experience within a similar role within the Rail industry and be up to date with Network Rail standards
- Reviewing site activities for safety and quality as per designs
- Liaising with Contractors and Project Teams
You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- IT Literate
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)
- Full UK Driving Licence
