CONSTRUCTION PLANNER
Job Summary
We are looking to appoint a Construction Planner in our Major Projects Business working on the EWR aliance with Network Rail, Atkins and Laing O’Rourke based at Milton Keynes.
Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be responsible for the timely issue of schedule information, the communication of critical programme deliverables and maintenance of programme information wthin the scehdule management plan guidelines. Key duties will include:-
- Produce complaint short-term programes and agree with relevant accountable project managers.
- Produce compliant programmes detailing any procurement and design prerequisites.
- Sign off on programme updates and communicate issues.
- Programme integration management.
- Dashboard, status & KPI reporting.
The position will be based in Milton Keynes.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience/skill set:
- User knowledge of Primavera P6 software, microsoft office and basic planning techniques.
- Previous experience of planning in a major civil/infrastructure project environment
- Experience with NCE contracts
- Previous exposure to rail access procedures
