ETM/ETE Supervisor (Electrical Track Maintenance and Electrical Track Equipment)

Salary: £10.00 - £16.00 per hour

Experience and certs: 5 years ETM/ETE Supervisor experience, PTS (Personal Track Safety), Cable jointing/third rail installations

We are looking for a ETM/ETE Supervisor to join our growing team.

The principal responsibilities are as follows:

• Oversee all onsite and offsite delivery to within applicable standards and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct on site delivery team, suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure works are delivered on time
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory for specific jobs or projects
• Review the work progress on a daily basis
• Provide end of shift updates
• Plan ahead to prevent and resolve any emerging issues
• Attend client meetings and site visits as required
• Contribute to work planning & coordination
• Gain full understanding of client expectations and requirements
• Undertake detailed planning of the day-to-day requirements to meet the Project needs
• Delegate work and tasks, bringing/debriefing team members, sub-contractors and suppliers to confirm requirements and clarity plan delivery arrangements
• Implement health, safety, quality and environmental requirements supported by full briefing
• Undertake risk assessments to ensure safe methods of work
• Ensure correct provision and positioning of plant & equipment for optimum use by the team
• Monitor site circumstances and re-plan work, optimising use of resources
• Keep on-site installation work under constant review to maximise productivity
• Support the handover and hand back process
• Identify potential process improvements and recommend or take action as appropriate
