This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Telecoms Construction Manager to join our team in Glasgow.

• Line management for Telecoms and E&P installation team
• Manage the team to ensure delivery of works safely, efficiently, cost effectively and to agreed programme
• Ensure site diaries are collated and all issues are reported/ recorded. Carry out regular reviews of Project Issue Log with Project Management Team.
• Undertake Staff Appraisals
• Maintain up to date Authority to Work records
• Act as Responsible Manager
• Manage the install teams to ensure isolation, possession and safe work plans have been identified and booked in a timely manner
• Undertake site inspections and audits to verify the effectiveness of work processes and quality of works against agreed standards/designs
• Manage the procurement of project materials are within budget and handed over to site delivery teams as per project timescales
• Identify forecasted resource, liaise with training and resource manager to ensure projects are suitably resourced with competent staff
• Understand project remit with ability to identify scope changes and managed through the change control process
• Assist the management team in identifying training needs and participate where required.
• Support the bid team in the preparation of technical, cost and programme information to support projects/bids
• Undertake regular review of standards, regulation, legislation and processes (internal/ external) and ensure their implementation
• Participate at readiness checks to ensure that engineering activities are planned thoroughly in a safe and effective manner
• Support specific business initiatives as required
• Assist with Internal/ External audits
• Support and mentor junior members of the engineering team
• Maintain engineering log book review process
