Administrator required to join a site office for a leading Highways Contractor in the UK who are working across MULTI-BILLION POUND Highways/Civil Engineeriing project in Central London!
You will be supporting the Office Manager on a day to day basis as well as the site team
Rate varies between £9-£12ph PAYE depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Follow goods received and plant hire routines as defined by the project accounting system, working to weekly and monthly costing systems.
- Assist the Contracts Manager with professional membership renewals
- Acting as first point of contact on reception and answering incomming calls
- Approve invoices for payment or raise the necessary invoice queries
- Administer the hourly and weekly paid payroll, timekeeping and labour allocation systems
- Monitor and interpret expenditure on site services ensuring bills are checked and paid on time.
- Manage site set up files and assist the Contracts Manager with any administration functions needed
- Monitoring the company's generic email accounts
- Manage the collection of CIS labour only new starter information
- Assist surveyors with administrative functions including filing, printing and photocopying.
- Resolving all queries and processing weekly invoices for payment
- Approve invoices for payment or raise the necessary invoice queries
- Monitor and interpret expenditure on site services ensuring bills are checked and paid on time.
- Processing labour only subcontractors invoices which includes verification with HMRC and setting up accounts with our online invoices system
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
