With a growing team of 550+ staff, working across our 12 Rail design offices throughout the UK we are continuing to add to our already extensive and impressive list of project awards.
The role
As our Assistant BIM Administrator, you will help to manage, maintain and develop ProjectWise as a common data environment for Rail Consulting. You will work under the guidance of the ProjectWise Administrator and BIM Information Manager, liaising with the Project team to support the project deliverables.
In a typical week you will:
- Assist with compliance to the relevant Health and Safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations
- Assist the Information Manager or BIM Coordinator with CAD compliance
- Use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to perform project tasks
- Support Deliverables Management and ProjectWise Online
- Assist in the set-up of new projects, user accounts and datasources
- Assist with the integration with Bentley and Microsoft office products and other software
- Provide frontline support for ProjectWise and deliver training
- Resolve general ProjectWise issues
- Assist in the development of datasources
- Assist in the implementation of ProjectWise and support development across Consulting
- Create Amey processes, procedures and standards, whilst tracking changes to reduce risk
- Monitor ProjectWise usage for licensing
- Assist in the development and support of ProjectWise environments, workflows and best practices
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Bentley Microstation and ProjectWise experience (essential)
- Bentley ProjectWise Administrator experience (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of BS1192 or ISO19650, Network Rail and Railway Group Standards
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Self-motivated individual and with good organisation and communication skills
- Knowledge of document control and management
- Knowledge of BIM Level 2 requirements
- Experience of working within the Rail industry
- Knowledge of using other EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems)
- Knowledge of Microsoft power apps and programming languages would be an advantage
- Knowledge of innovative designs and engineering practices
