Contract Relationship Co-ordinator

We are looking for an experienced Contract Relationship coordinator to join our team in Reading, Berkshire.

This is a key new role introduced to the Logistics Management Centre to develop contractor relationships and contract compliance. You will be the main point of contact for contract and performance queries for both internal and external stakeholders. The role involves working closely with field based teams and internal commercial functions to ensure excellent standards are maintained, in line with the contract.

With the opportunity to influence in excess of £20 million of spend this role offers the successful candidate input into future contract strategies. This position has the benefit of being approximately 50% field based and 50% based in our and contractor offices. This is a highly visible role that involves direct interface our senior management teams and contractor director level. As part of a recently formed high performing team there are excellent opportunities for swift progression.

Duties and responsibilities of the Contracts Relationship Coordinator will involve?

Field based audits for health and safety, scope of works and contract compliance

Chairing contractor performance meetings

Issuing formal notifications

Monitoring Key Performance Indicators/Service Level Agreements

Being the main point of contact for internal and external contract queries

Reporting key risks and opportunities to the Contract Relationship Manager

Reporting on and forecast efficiency initiatives

What skills are we looking for?

The key to success in this role is being able to communicate effectively at all levels. This will include ensuring performance on site and representing the company in formal contract meetings. It is essential that the successful candidate has a meticulous attention to detail and a high level of numeracy; to carry out the formal elements of the role excellent written skills are a must. As part of a highly performing team we are keen for the successful candidate to also come up with innovative solutions to improve service and efficiency.

Knowledge of waste network, pumping stations and waste management operations is highly desirable.
