Contracts Manager in South Wales, United Kingdom
Our client require a Contracts Manager to work in their offices in South Wales. Taking responsibility for overseeing all financial activities and control of the company Client portfolio, you will be accountable for effective programme planning and timely scheme delivery.
With a good commercial sense, you will possess an understanding of all aspects of the contracting process, having worked in a similar role before.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
• Project planning and programming
• Ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance is maintained
• Producing and analysing progress reports
• Ensuring correct commercial engagement of subcontractors
Requirements:
• Previous experience of working within the Rail industry
• CSCS – Black Management
• SMSTS or NEBOSH General Certificate
• PTS
The Client is a Main Contractor, with a mature client base, built on strong relationships within the rail industry. Providing a range of civil, building, mechanical and electrical and maintenance services, they have a client base including Network Rail, train operating companies and other major contactors within the rail sector. Offering an extensive multi-disciplinary range of design, construction, renewal, refurbishment, installation, commissioning and maintenance capability, they pride themselves on their engineering excellence and multi-skilled labour force, supported by excellent planning and project management skills. Current project delivery includes tunnel, bridge, embankment or station schemes as part of the CP6 infrastructure contracts. The package will include a car (or car allowance), 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension and life insurance.
