An excellent opportunity for an experienced contracts manager, you’ll be responsible for the management of train cleaning contracts between two highly regarded engineering organisations.
THE COMPANY

Their UK operation employs around 1000 people covering existing and start-up operations spanning eight locations including several depots across the country including a vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.
The company have a number of high profile orders with full life-cycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain over 200 brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount exponentially to meet the demands of these contracts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Working within train presentation, this role will suit someone with a contracts management background within cleaning or soft facilities. You’ll be experienced in the delivery of cleaning standards to an efficient and high quality within the transport or industrial sectors. You’ll have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and stakeholders internally and externally, to ensure the contractual agreements are meet.
ABOUT THE JOB
You’ll manage a team of Cleaning Team Leaders, but also be responsible for the recruitment, setting up and ongoing management of the depot based 3rd party cleaning teams. You’ll manage the contract with the client, as well as ensuring KPI’s are meet. You will also ensure the cleaning teams are fully trained to the required standards, including the use of the necessary I.T. systems to support the capturing of all cleaning KPIs. You will then perform audits and reports to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of delivering cleaning standards to an efficient, high quality within a transport environment.
- Manual Handling, COSHH
- Previous experience of Cleaning Supervision to exacting standards.
- Previous experience of contract management.
- Proven experienced manager with strong leadership skills
THE SALARY
Circa £45,000-£50,000 per annum + Excellent Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + BH
