The Opportunity:

This role is an incredible chance to not only have significant responsibility on this main contractor’s existing rail portfolio, but there is also a fantastic opportunity to develop new revenue streams within major clients across the Highways and Environmental industries. This will see you assisting with technical submissions for bids and key client interface, meaning you’ll have a huge say in the company’s growth!

Taking over 50% of the main contractor’s rail frameworks in the Eastern region, you will also be heading up a team of Project Managers whilst having key interface with Commercial and Planning teams.

Package

For this position, the company is offering a fantastic salary circa £70,000 per annum, annual bonus, the choice of a company car or car allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays with two optional charity days and the option to buy more holidays, funding and support with professional memberships, Pension, Health Insurance, and an Agile working policy which will provide you with a fantastic work home life balance.

This is a senior role based within the company’s rail division; however, this role could also be a great opportunity for somebody coming from a Highways or Environmental background. It is fundamental that you’re a client focused individual who can truly develop long-term professional relationships and be able to play a key part in bidding activities.

It’s a given that you’ll have a fantastic track record working in senior positions across the Civil engineering industry, you’ll be able to display examples of projects you’ve had bidding input on, as well as a significant history managing a team successfully.

  • HNC, HND, or BSc in Civil engineering essential
