Vital is working with a leading infrastructure development company dedicated to improving and enhancing rail transportation systems. Due to continued expansion in operations, we are seeking a talented and motivated Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual aspects of our rail station development and enhancement projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Contractual Oversight: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from contract initiation to closure, including drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, change orders, and other legal documents related to rail station development and enhancement projects.
- Budget Monitoring: Work closely with finance teams to monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast potential financial impacts of contractual changes.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure all parties adhere to contract terms and conditions, including performance metrics, deliverables, milestones, and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in contract management and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the transportation and infrastructure industry, with a focus on rail station development and enhancement projects.
- Strong understanding of Civil Enhancement and Development disciplines alongside Lineside Access rules (Essential)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
