About the vacancy:
Coombes requires an experienced Office Administrator to support our busy head office on a full time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will provide administrative support across a range of disciplines, as well as to our MD.
Key duties include coordinating our Approved Supplier process and supporting the Quality and Compliance side of the business. Knowledge or experience of external Quality or Management Standards administration is therefore desirable.
As Office Administrator you will be highly organised with experience in minuting meetings, tracking and following-up actions. An excellent eye for detail and proof-reading skills are required for reviewing, updating and ensuring compliance of internal documentation. It is essential candidates are skilled in MS Excel, including in the use of formulas and pivot tables, in order to collate, record and present data.
A confident communicator, our Office Administrator will coordinate and prepare various documentation and reports across the business for external use. The successful candidate will be adept at building excellent working relationships, as they will proactively liaise and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in practices and to deliver a professional service.
The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team. You will take pride in your work, complete tasks to a high standard and share Coombes’ ethos and values.
Salary: circa £20,000
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with 1hr unpaid lunch break.
