Contract
MPI are looking for a Rail Administrator on a 6-month contract in Doncaster.
Key Accountabilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for the administration of the rail investigation process and systems.
Key duties to include:
- Issuing of templates and remits to lead investigators.
- Setting up and maintaining the investigation filing structure.
- Assisting with obtaining the evidence in a timely manner and ensuring the master file is kept up to date.
- Coordinating diaries, setting up of conference calls, taking notes of meetings, circulating actions and managing audio recordings.
- Coordinating diaries to set up investigation interviews and site visits.
- Monitoring the status of investigations with the investigation leads.
- Inputting of actions from investigations.
- Quality checking that all necessary information associated to the investigation has been supplied before issue and identification of anomalies/discrepancies.
- Distribution of investigation reports and shared learning briefings/bulletins.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to show the status of investigations and corrective actions, and any other key indicators associated to the investigation process as defined by the Data & Reporting Strategy Manager.
- Provide administrative support to set up the Rail Investigation review meetings.
- Assist in the set up of the Rail Investigation Technical Review Workshops.
Skills & Experience
You will be self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirement for this role.
The candidate will also ideally have the following experience/skill set:
- Previous experience in a high-volume administration role.
- Previous experience of extracting and manipulating data would be advantageous.
- Experience of maintaining attention to detail and accurate data entry required.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel and internal data management systems.
- Flexible/proactive - can do attitude who shows initiative to support others.
- Strong focus on customer service building rapport and quality control.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
