Location: Euston, London
Job Description:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Receptionist/Administrator will provide full support to the Project Delivery Teams based at Lynton House. Responsible for front of office reception and administration duties, including greeting visitors, answering emails, handling company enquiries, booking and maintaining meeting rooms requests.
What are my responsibilities?
- Welcomes on site visitors, determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate staff member
- Monitors visitor access and issues swipe cards when required
- Manage and maintain meeting room bookings
- Orders, receives, and maintains office stationery stocks
- Receives, sorts and routes mail to appropriate staff.
- Arranging courier items when required
- Receiving and issuing courier items to relevant staff
- Provide administrative support to Departments as required
- Housekeeping of reception, meeting rooms, post room, kitchen and goods-in areas
- Coordinate any Health and Safety bulletins, visits or briefings
- Any other ad hoc administrative related task as directed by placement manager.

- Must be customer service focused and have experience of dealing with clients
- Presentable appearance at all times
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Pro-active and able to work with minimal supervision
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Excellent time-keeping
- Self-motivated
- Experience of working in a busy dynamic environment
Desirable
- Knowledge of rail industry would be advantageous
Specific Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities for this Post:

- Ensure compliance with the business procedures relative to their position
- Follow emergency procedures
- Wear approved protective clothing and using safety equipment when required by health and safety regulations
- Use all equipment provided safely and notifying local management of any observed deficiencies or defects as soon as they become apparent
- Inform management of any changes in materials, plant or processes and of any new materials, plant or processes which become apparent in the course of work that may impact on safety or the environment
- Inform management of any potential improvements that could improve Siemens environmental performance
- Immediately inform management of any observed hazards, injuries or dangerous occurrences, which become apparent during work
- Stop work when instructed to do so and only resume or commence work when instructed it is safe to do so
- Report all safety and environmental incidents and accidents
