Providing leadership and subject matter expertise in strategic _ operational planning to the service line and to deliver core and new programmes and projects for planning and transformation services. Ensure programmes and projects are delivered within budgets. Lead, develop and motivate professional team of SMEs. To be a designated an account service line lead.
As a Section Planner Administrator your main responsibilities would be:
- Plan and optimise all agreed work activities for the section, including the submission of requests for all subcontractor resource by liaising directly with the various contractors as directed by the Section.
- Accurately update systems, databases and records as required.
- Produce Safe System of Work plans.
- Submit green zone access and isolation requests.
- Manage weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings
- Represent Section Managers at planning meetings
- Set up and maintain efficient filing systems for the Section paying particular attention to confidentiality where necessary and also those documents deemed to be safety critical
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Work Plan production and resource optimisation skills
- Scheduling profile in work planning/scheduling system
- Knowledge of access and possession processes and systems
- Safe System of Work Planning Process and System
- Experience of clerical support and office management
- Safe System of Work Planner
You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:
- Core Planning Skills Level 2
- Knowledge of relevant IT systems
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of operational railway environment is desirable but not essential
