Senior Contracts Manager in St Albans, United Kingdom
The Senior contracts Manager is responsible for reviewing and considering legal aspects of
contract award & administration. They are also responsible for preparing and drafting
commercial bids and tenders, estimating the costs of a project and ensuring that the costs
are controlled.
Responsibilities:
Provide regular project performance reports including a full monthly report
Take responsibility for the management of multiple site teams
Provide information for inclusion within tender submissions
Understand and deliver contracts within the agreed contract conditions and
timeframes
Line management of Senior Site Managers and their site teams; monitoring
performance, providing leadership, direction and guidance
Provide pre- construction and pre contract advice to ensure for the smooth running of
site activities
Daily liaison with client representatives.
Prepare monthly profit/loss reports
Prepare contract programmes for all works and keep client regularly updated with
progress
Skills:
Excellent planning and organisational skills in the railway environment
Detailed Health and Safety knowledge of the railway environment
Good at problem solving & decision-making
Knowledge of building, material components, building regulations
Full working knowledge on MS Office – particularly Excel.
SMSTS
First Aid
Full UK driving licence
