Ford & Stanley - The Rail Specialists are looking to recruit a Project Administrator to join their prestigious Rail client based in Nottingham.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a project's environment.
As the Project Administrator you will assist the Project Manager by coordinating all the project documentation and administration such as booking meetings, submitting payment and forecasting.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Application of internal business impact change management processes.
- Liaise with other project stakeholders.
- Liaise with the operations and training teams to identify and effect the necessary changes to operating instructions, driving policy and training packages.
- Supporting the maintenance depots across the UK.
- Participating in business change activities
- Administration for internal and external meetings
- Collation, submission including liaison with sub -contractors / consultants.
- Assisting with the creation of the monthly, annual and 5 yearly expense forecast.
- Assisting with the booking and monitoring of training for the drivers, maintainers and other staff .
- Contractor Management and site inductions.
The candidate
- The successful candidate will be experienced within a technical project administration.
- They should have minimum Grade C GCSE English and Maths.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, Project & SharePoint
Essential Skills
- Excellent knowledge and experience of administration preferably within a Technical PMO environment
- Excellent and proven computer skills including Word & Excel
- Experience with the manipulation of data and the use of formulas in Excel
- Reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with engineers, suppliers & customers
- Flexible, adaptable, full of enthusiasm and able to work proactively under own initiative
- Knowledge of project lifecycles would be advantageous
