Job Title: Engineering Team Leader

Location of Work: Swindon, Wiltshire

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering team leader to join a fast paced and busy working environment, overseeing the daily maintenance & repairs of various mobile fleets.

Ganymede Solutions are currently working with a recognised leader in the engineering sector who has operations across several bus and rail franchises within the UK and has an ever-growing presence within the engineering transportation industry.

Look no further, as we have a great opening for an engineering team leader to join a local depot where you will be tasked with leading a team of engineers performing maintenance & repairs.

The Role:

Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role! As part of your role you will be providing your team of 4 – 8 fitters with their daily working tasks, overseeing & ensuring the work is completed correctly where various maintenance & repairs will be carried out on buses, mini buses and ancillary vehicles, ensuring health & safety is adhered to and signing off of the engineering work to allow the fleet to return to service whilst reporting to the workshop supervisor and engineering manager.

Requirements:

If you’re loving the sound of this, here’s what you need to be considered for the role! A strong background in PCV, HGV, Buses or Coaches as a team leader, flexibility to work 3x weekly alternating shift patterns of 05:00am – 16:15pm, 06:00am – 17:15pm and 07:00am – 18:15pm on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Hold a level 3 mechanical engineering / vehicle maintenance engineering qualification.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary of £36,666.

20 days annual leave

Provided with a company bus pass

Life care insurance to the value of annual salary

Pension contribution of 3% after 3 months service.
