Team Leader BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) - Ivory Coast (French Speaking)

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting an International consultancy who have recent secured a major BRT programme in Ivory Coast and as result are requiring a Team Leader to join their team providing Owner's Engineering services on behalf of the client. The Role is to start Immediately.

Opportunity:

My client is one of the largest consulting engineers in the Transportation field who successfully delivered numerous projects across the region. Having secured the work the successful individual shall be joining the project from it commencement and playing a key role in its successful delivery, supported by other key experts.

Responsibilities:

As part of an international team the key experts shall be responsible for leading the project through its Design Phase, managing consultancy who shall be carrying out the Details design. Once contracts have been award and construction begin the role shall transfer into more of a Construction Supervision.

As Team Leader you shall be responsible for managing a team providing technical knowledge within their specific fields while advising the client and various stakeholders on solutions, variations and alternatives to problems that arise.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree qualified in a related subject (BAC+5 preferable)
• 15 years of engineering experience
• Completed 2 Supervision or Owner's Engineer project as Team Leader within the road field in the past 10 years
• Led, 2 studies of road infrastructure works over the past ten years as Team Leader
• Have carried out, as team leader, at least five work supervision or owner's engineer assignments as part of the implementation of mass transport (TER type, RER, High Speed Line, BRT, tram, etc.)
• Similar regional experience would be beneficial

Language:

Fluency in French writing and communication

Salary Package:

The salary package is expected to be flexible depending on experience but is likely to be around €10,000 per months with an expatriate package consisting of Flights, Accommodation, Insurances.
