A perfect opportunity to combine your engineering and management skills has arisen with this leading organisation within the Rolling Stock Market Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will combine all of your skills and give you the opportunity to really take charge and make your mark. This organisation focus on boosting services and on implementing service improvements to make journeys more pleasurable for passengers.

Based in London you will have clear responsibility for the team ensuring Reliability Quality and Safety. Leading from the front your will oversee growth projects with clear indicators for lost departures, customer issues and maintenance actions. Dedicated to quality you will take ownership of audits of trains, maintenance quality, warranty issues and the relationship with critical suppliers. In addition to this you will help cultivate the rolling stock teams training plan to ensure development.

Essential to securing the role, you will have a strong engineering background in at least one railway discipline. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills with excellent analytical and engineering management experience. A working knowledge of product processes and knowledge of the ALARP principle would be a real advantage, as would Chartered Membership and the capability to operate communicate at senior operative level.
