Join us as Head of Infrastructure Delivery (HOID)

Nexus are looking for a dynamic and robust manager to lead the Capital and Metro Delivery teams as part of the Metro Infrastructure Directorate in the successful delivery of the Essential Renewals Plan and other renewal, upgrade and support activities by;

Leading the Capital Delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of the internalised infrastructure capital programme work.

• Leading the Metro Delivery team in delivering engineering site preparation, management, possession planning and the production of Metro Infrastructure performance.
• Leading the Metro Delivery team in delivering the Metro Infrastructure Administration support and the transport management of the Nexus Road and Road/Rail vehicle fleet.
• Leading the Metro Delivery team in the development and maintenance of the asset knowledge database (Maximo) aimed at supporting Nexus’ activities.

The HOID will develop, maintain and deploy process controls aimed at ensuring the successful delivery on all safety, quality, cost and programme objectives.

It will be the HOID’s responsibility to ensure the appropriate controls and procedures are adhered to by reviewing, auditing and inspecting activities and process. The HOID will prepare and manage budgets up to £7 million per annum and be able to use fiscal prudence to achieve agreed budget targets including efficiency savings.

The HOID will manage a large team and will need to have a proven track record of effective staff development and employee relations experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in engineering or relevant business/management subject, or equivalent

Salary range £52,305 to £78,465pa
