Samuel Knight International are working with a leading Rolling Stock specialist who are looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to their expanding operation based in West London

Key elements of the role Include:

• To perform repairs as requested to plant machines and equipment
• To Modify & overhaul items / systems on the client's machines and equipment
• To commission new and modified / repaired machines and equipment
• Opearte efficiently as part of a team or autonomously
• To complete all required record keeping & data entry
• To carry out work in a timely and professional manner
• Will be required to work anywhere in the UK and also internationally when necessary
• To supply telephone assistance and site attendance to assist other departments outside of normal working hours as part of the On Call roster as required.
• To undertake any other tasks, from time to time as required by the Service Manager

Successful candidates will possess the following experience:

• A proven track record and successful background working in a similar role
• Time served / apprenticeship trained or nationally recognised certification in engineering disipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure, problem solve and be forward thinking
• Previous Rolling Stock experience is essential
