The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is urgently seeking a Senior Bridge Design and Superstructure Expert to join a leading engineering consultancy on a major Rail project in Bangladesh.

Opportunity

Job Role / Responsibilities

The job role shall be to carryout detail design/ design review for all Superstructures including a number of bridges and elevated track of this new Metro scheme. From a base in the capital Dhaka you shall be responsible for liaising with a multi discipline team of engineers, resolving technical issues and ensuring the successful delivery of the design works.

Project

This huge Donor funded metro project includes both elevated and underground works, over 70 stations in total. With works planned on this project into 2025 my client is looking for solid candidates with the potential to stay on throughout the project.

Location

The role will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, the capital city where a high quality of life can be attained at very low living costs.

Salary Package

The salary package consists of $10,000 USD per month (net), with a per diem of 100 USD to cover living costs. Mobilization flights and initial accommodation (roughly two weeks) will be covered by the client.

Requirements

For this role the client that ewi recruitment are working with have a minimum requirement of ;

• Bachelor Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• 32 years relevant field experience
• 10 overseas projects
• 23 years overseas experience
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
