About you

• IRSE Licensed in Design (1.1.510), and Design Verification (1.1.160)
• Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage your workload and commitments

About the role

Reporting to our Sprint Team Leads you'll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Technical input to identify, manage and meet design/data requirements for signalling control
• Independent checking/verification of relevant project design and data deliverables
• Undertaking CRE (Design) role responsibilities when working on Network Rail projects
• Technical support for Bidding/Project Management on design and data configuration
• Contributing to the timely resolution of Technical Queries
• Ensuring compliance with applicable railway signalling standards and regulations
• Developing signalling design and data competencies amongst your peers

Our Control Systems Division is based in Derby where we have one of our beautiful contemporary workspaces, although we have a flexible, hybrid approach to work and location – so talk to us about your preferences and how these could work for both you and the team.

Our normal full-time hours are 37 per week, but there is a great deal of flexibility over start and finish times, so this role may well suit an individual looking for an arrangement that suits their needs and commitments, around our current requirement to be in the office at least one day per week.
