Design Lead - Signalling Systems (Rail)

A leading international consultancy is seeking a Design Lead - Signalling Systems to join their team for an exciting new rail project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in a landmark project within the region, contributing to the development of Saudi Arabia's rail infrastructure.

As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of signalling systems, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and client expectations. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, applying your expertise in rail signalling design to drive efficient and compliant solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of general experience, with at least 10 years in the rail sector and 5 years in a design lead role for signalling systems.
• Education: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Regional Experience: Preferable experience in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead the design and development of signalling systems, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on signalling design, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor design quality and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project standards
