Job Title: Design Manager - Shafts

I am looking for a design manager with a good rail background, to deliver engineering technical excellence for engineering works associated with shafts and tunnels fit out.

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a rail aspect. This role would suit a design Manager with build experience on tunnels and shafts.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Report to the project director to deliver the engineering on allocated company contracts.
• Manage design for shaft fit out
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Ensure integration works on site.
• Manage design process.
• Client facing

Essential requirements:

• Design Manager level experience in rail works
• Have five years relevant experience.
• Proven experience of managing works.

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
