Design Manager (Signalling)

Hybrid working

Responsibilities:

• Manage signalling design team (experience required includes but not limited to Locations, REBs, Scheme Plans, RRI, relay wires, level crossings etc.).
• Support delivery of Life Extension and Renewals projects.
• Oversee the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
• Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling design work as instructed
• Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, company procedures and standards
• Perform duties as directed by the Lead Design Manager / Head of Design in connection with Signalling Design activities

Requirements:

• Hold an IRSE Design Manager licence or working towards (essential)
• Experience in railway Signalling design (essential)
• Prior experience as a Signalling Design CRE (desirable)
