DESIGN MANAGER - CORNWALL - PERMANENT - £60,000 TO £70,000 PER ANNUM


Advanced Resource Manager are currently working with a leading building materials company, seeking an experienced Design Manager based in St Austell for a permanent role!


About You:
* Extensive experience of the Civil Engineering industry particularly ideally with experience of working in the highways sector.
* You will need a degree in Civil Engineering. - HND/HNC
* You will need to design management skills - from the initial design stage to the handover stage.
* You will need essive experience using AutoCAD.


What you will be doing:
You will be working on a new highway project within the Civil engineering sector, you will have the responsibility of coordinating the design process on a project, from tender to end-user handover. Ensuring the designs are sustainable, delivered on time, and within budget. Other duties will include:
* Ensuring completeness of scope in the Design Brief and allocation of the remit to the designer(s)
* Accountable for the day-to-day management and coordination of technical and engineering activities.
* Communication of the design programme to the project team and Client as required.



This role will be a mixture of site and office based; the site you will be working on is in St Austell.
You will ideally hold a valid driver's license.


The Salary Range on this role is: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum. With this client there are good benefits included with this role such as, contributory pension scheme (3% employee and 6% employer OR 5% employee and 8% employer), car allowance and much more!
