Ewi is the leading infrastructure recruitment specialist and are seeking a Design Manager to join a leading civil main contractor. Currently, they are looking for a Design Manager to initially work on a large scale civil infrastructure project in the Netherlands.

Job Role / Responsibilities

• Reporting to the international head of design
• Support the Project Manager with managing the contract
• Manage resources within the team (structural/geo engineers, design coordinator)
• Responsible for integrated design (civil/structural, highways & installations/MEP)
• Design and construction
• Eurocodes and standards
• Direct client liaison

The ideal candidate will have

• Engineering degree
• Experience on major projects
• Proven experience in successfully managing design teams
• Knowledge of Dutch contracts would be an advantage
• Capable of effective communication in Dutch and English
