Design Verifier (Signalling)

Salary banding dependant on experience level - considering Senior Designers (Principles) or Designers.

Locations: Manchester

Responsibilities:

• Carry out design and design production checks on Signalling designs as instructed (experience required includes but not limited to Locations, REBs, Scheme Plans, relay wires, level crossings etc.).
• Support delivery of Life Extension and Renewals projects.
• Assist in the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
• Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling design work as instructed
• Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, company procedures and standards
• Perform duties as directed, from time to time, by the Design Manager in connection with Signalling Design activities

Requirements:

• Hold an IRSE Designer & Verifier licence (essential)
• Hold a Principles Designer IRSE licence (desirable)
• Experience in railway signalling design (essential)
