Advance TRS has an excellent opportunity for someone with signalling design experience. We're helping an inclusive company find a Signalling Design Verifier in Birmingham for a full-time, flexible working role based within our client's Signalling design centres around the UK. This collaborative Design Verifier job in Birmingham comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

The Signal Design Verifier will produce, deliver and verify safety-related Signalling design deliverables at a principle and system level in accordance with the client-specific requirements, appropriate railway standards, technical constraints, and company procedures. The projects are multidiscipline, complex, and are strategically important to the company's clients.

If you were already in this Design Verifier role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
Identifying, capturing, and validating Signalling requirements
Supporting the Responsible Engineer with the identification of operational risks, construction risk, maintenance risk, and system risk within the design
Verifying and Validating Signalling Design deliverables against all safety requirements
Identifying best practice signalling processes as part of a continual improvement plan

As a Signalling Principles Designer, you will also be supporting the Designer Delivery Manager or Responsible Engineer with design verification assurance activities, including undertaking audits, validation of design deliverables, and work package management.

To apply, you will require an HNC/HND in an engineering discipline as well as the following:
Application of Signalling Verification and Design Process at a principle and system level
IRSE 1.1.160 IRSE Signalling Design Verifier
Application of CDM (Construction, Design and Management Regulations)
Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) Certificate is desirable
