We are currently working with a leading engineering consultancy who are looking to expand their electrical and plant engineering team in York by recruiting an Assistant or E&P Design Engineer who could be involved in the leading UK rail projects such as TRU or HS2 working on Low Voltage schemes such as Signaling Power etc.
As an Assistant or E&P Design Engineer you will regular day could involve the production of E&P/MEP designs on rail projects as instructed by the CRE or Lead engineer. Additionally, you will need to ensure that designs are completed within the timescales and to the requirements agreed with the CRE/Lead Engineer. You will also be responsible for planning and allocating design works to meet the agreed timescales and identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise them with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
As mentioned we are looking for either an Assistant E&P Engineer or a Design Engineer, so therefore could suit a graduate 3 + years experience looking to make that next step up. Or alternatively an E&P design engineer looking for a fresh challenge.
Job Requirements:
Experience in E&P rail projects minimum 3 years experience
Low voltage experience
A good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements (internal training will be provided)
Familiar and experience in the use of the relevant Design software
