Are you a geotechnical design engineer with experience using plaxsis software?
Are you looking for your next contract position whilst wanting to work remotely?
My client is one of the leading engineering consultancies and is currently looking multiple geotechnical design engineers to work on HS2.
Location: Working from home
Rate: dependant on experience - paid umbrella
Contract length: 12 month contract + extensions
This is a fully working from home position and company laptops will be sent out. Their London office is open and for anyone local they would like them in a couple of days a week. Working on multiple phases of HS2 my client are looking for geotechnical design engineers with experience in foundation design, retaining walls and basement design.
This is a role which will involve creating detail designs and analysis and my client is looking for recent similar experience.
Role will involve geotechnical calculations, geotechnical designs, geotechnical assessments, ground movement assessments and liasing with technicians.
Long contracts are on offer and likely to be extended due to the amount of secured works they have over the coming years.
Requirements:
·Degree in relevant field
·Geotechnical software Plaxis is a must
·Recent detailed design experience in foundations, retaining walls, basements.
·Previous rail experience would be preferred but not essential
·Uk based
