Tell me more about the role

Basically this is an electrical design lead role and design is at the core focus (and where most of the time will be spent.)

The role though does have two key elements and both are as important as the other

1. As PLM Lead you will guide the design team to work to Gemini’s standards within the Teamcenter environment. Setting up workflows and defining best practises.
2. As Design Lead you will be using Solid Edge design packages to produce models and technical drawing whilst checking and verifying the work of other team members.

This varied role will also encompass vehicle (rail) surveys both at Wolverton Facility and at customer facilities.

Are you right for the role?

Rail experience in electrical design would be superb ; however are open to a range of industries particularly automotive and also industries which are heavily regulated. The key skill is solid edge design experience or similiar CAD experience Solidworks, NX, Catia, Creo) and ideally experience of setup and management of Teamcenter. If not setup at least usage of, would be great.

If you have experience with another PLM system (setup and design) such as Vault, Windchill, Envoia then we'd also be open to exploring your experience.

Remuneration & core information.

This is a permanent position

Salary circa £45,000
